Grimous is a kind and wise, if a little grumpy, Arch-Mage who has found the cure to all ills. He travels the world of Edra bestowing his healing potions and magical amulets on people and races alike. He created flying iron-monkeys and huge fierce iron fire-beasts to aid him in his quest of healing.

Along his journeys his secret is stolen. He has a curious bottle that seems to contain a liquid that has the power to heal. A cut-purse and general all round low-life, Bracus McGint, seizes the bottle through magic of his own, unaware what deadly consequences he has unleashed…

​Richard Nairn had a misspent childhood glued to Warner Bros and Disney cartoons which led to an obsession that continues to this very day. Richard attended the Kent Institute of Art and Design in Canterbury. It soon became clear that he had no intention of embarking on a career as a “proper” artist and so he is a full-time cartoonist and caricaturist, sometimes to the rich and famous.
